WHO IS MATTHEW GREGORY?

Matthew was born and raised in Birmingham, Alabama.
His mother Brenda instilled a passion for helping others in him and along with it an insatiable drive. That drive fueled his entrepreneurial spirit. Matthew and his wife Rebekah rehabbed their own house in 1998 as their starter home. Upon completion, one thing became very clear. House flipping was a calling.

$300M + in transactional volume with over 1,300 houses flipped and counting! Matthew juggles about 100 house flips per year, 30 at a time! That’s no easy task and involves a highly dedicated support system comprised of family, friends, and crew to accomplish… but the work is never done. “Don’t get relaxed!” is a phrase everyone at Gregory Dream Homes is used to hearing. That mantra is the driving force that keeps Matthew and his team at the top of their game in the house flipping market.
Like all successful ventures, opportunity yields opportunity, and there is certainly no shortage. In addition to house flipping Matthew currently holds multiple rental units, Airbnb’s, and the team has ventured into the world of storage units. These real estate ventures are brought to light frequently via social media, and Matthew is building a captive audience on his journey. Many of these endeavors are highlighted on his YouTube channel.

My beautiful wife and I have always wanted to own a piece of Birmingham history. We rehabbed a great building that is now home to multiple lofts we offer as short-term rentals. Book a stay!

Rental properties are a great investment for many investors. I’ve tended to avoid rentals, but modern landlording is presenting new opportunities, and we jumped in!

GIVING BACK
Helping others is Matthew’s passion.
In 2004 he worked closely with his family as they started faith-based Loveladies Ministries, which has transitioned thousands of women away from addictions, incarceration and homelessness to a better life. Today, he serves on the Freedom Rains/Loveladies Board and is a key advisor to their day to day operations. Matthew and his wife Rebekah also actively support Here-I-Am Ministries. On Sundays, you may find Matthew playing drums in the worship bands at several Birmingham area churches.
Matthew is also a member of U•N•I which provides financial resources, business expertise and technical support to organizations - helping society's most vulnerable as they transition away from addictions, incarceration, life losses and other life challenges.
